Elena Romanova

Elena Romanova is a leading software engineer, working with сloud technologies, Big Data, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Elena joined IBA Group in 2008. Initially, she worked on IBM projects related to web technologies and services and eventually started working with Big Data and sentiment analysis. Afterwards, her duties expanded to include working with the IBM Watson team on the development of NLP models designed to extract data from medical documentation. Elena’s team achieved a patent for one of the NLP models in 2013.

Elena Romanova graduated from the Belarusian State University (BSU), the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics in 2008. Her specialty was System Programming.
