Responsibility and Resilience: Inside IBA Group’s CSR Efforts

The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is vital to the company’s long-term stability and prosperity. Driven by the exceptional skills and dedication of its employees, IBA Group views technology as an instrument for positive change.
In September 2025, the United Nations Global Compact celebrates its 25th anniversary. In addition, this year marks the tenth anniversary of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). IBA Group joins the SDG Flag Campaign 2025 and shares our own efforts to keep the company’s business sustainable.
Commitment to Global Sustainability Principles
In 2018, IBA Group formalized its dedication to ethical practices and became a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). With this commitment, the company pledged to align its operations and strategies with the UNGC’s Ten Principles in the following areas:
- Human rights
- Labour
- Environment
- Anti-corruption
Every year, IBA Group publishes a CSR report that emphasizes company’s efforts to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Recently, the company released its 2025 version with data from 2024.

Guided by this pledge, IBA Group concentrates its efforts on critical areas like quality education, decent work, economic growth, and responsible consumption. This work formalizes into four central pillars:

The company’s projects reflect its core principles. IBA’s SoftPOS solution, tapXphone, for instance, breaks down barriers and expands access to banking services for small businesses and individuals.
Other initiatives contribute to the creation of smarter, more efficient cities. Internally, IBA Group invests in energy-efficient equipment and adopts sustainable operational practices, mirroring UNGC commitments in its daily business.
From Grassroots to Green Spaces
IBA Group’s philosophy is activated through tangible local engagement.
In Poland, employees partnered with the One More Tree Foundation to host two tree-planting events. As a result, the teams planted over 1,000 trees to support regional ecosystems. These events combined environmental education with community bonding through workshops and family activities.
IBA Group’s commitment to sustainability also shines through in self-organized acts of compassion. In Kazakhstan, company volunteers personally delivered food and clothing packages to vulnerable groups.
Promoting Health and Well-being
Another goal is supporting community health. IBA Poland’s team, ATOMÓWKI, participated in the 2024 Corporate Sports Games. This group work resulted in a donation of 40,000 PLN (approximately 10,000 euros) to the Zdrowy Ruch Foundation for youth athletic programs.
In addition, the company’s Kids Fitness Program offers children a fun and structured way to develop vital motor skills. This initiative supports children’s well-being and provides a space where parents can engage in their own wellness activities.
